Room 11, we think you are all very clever. We have making discoveries about snails too. Grace thinks that snails have a shell to protect themselves. They hide inside the shell when they are frightened. Dorian thinks snails need their shell so that they can hibernate in the winter. They make a plug of slime to cover up the shell opening.
